Welcome to the website of the Mid Devon Cycling Club, based in the council areas of the South Hams, Teignbridge and Torbay. The club was formed in 1930 and has a wealth of experience and history.

We have grown into one of the most prominent clubs in the South West producing many champions and professional cyclists including Colin Lewis, Roy Hopkins, Mike Parker, Jeremy Hunt (Team Sky), Yanto Barker and John Locke (Endura).

However the Mid Devon isn't just about elite competition, the club holds regular Sunday club rides, social events and trips to sportives. We are a a British Cycling registered Go Ride Club and our Club Mark accreditation acknowledges the standards we have met to ensure all our activities are fair and equitable. Our youth section the Abbrook Aces for those aged 5 - 12, concentrates on developing cycle skills and having fun. There are four British Cycling coaches who can advise you on how you can develop your own performances. Our links with South Dartmoor Community College have led to a booming youth section with members qualifying for National events.

We don't just ride events, we organise time trials, road racing and circuit racing. The Mid Devon promotes the Dartmoor Classic Cyclo Sportive which has rapidly grown into one of the must do events on the sportive calendar.

The club has links with  Abbrook Park Sports and Social club in Strap Lane, Kingsteignton, membership of this club allows us to base all our club activities in one place.
