This year the South West Regional road race championships has stepped up a level and will showcase bike racing at its best. With increased participation in the westcountry, championships for Women, Juniors and Men will take place on the same day. Marcin Bialoblocki  will be hoping to take the win for the third year running.

The Mid-Devon cycling club has worked in partnership with the South West road race work group, and attracted headline sponsorship from Kitson Solicitors and assistance from Kalas clothing, for the winners jersey, Mercedes Exeter and Colin Lewis Cycles, . This has enabled the prize fund to be increased to £600. To encourage participation across the category's there will be a separate prize list for 3rd category riders. 

The event willl be supported by NEG motorcyclists and race service will be provided by Primal Europe, Commissaires vehicles by Mercedes Exeter. A new course for seniors will feature a 30 mile loop around Roadford Reservoir returning to Hatherleigh for six laps of a flat finishing circuit. Juniors and ladies will cover the smaller circuit five times The scene is set for a great days racing, make sure you're there !
